Crushie ("we", "us", or "our") is designed as an intimate, private space for couples to share memories, notes, questions, daily answers, and photos. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you access or use the Crushie mobile application and related services.

When you use Crushie, you may provide information directly to us, including:
- Account Information: Your email address, sign-in credentials, nickname, partner code, avatar, and relationship profile details.
- Couple Content: Memories, diary notes, milestone entries, chat messages, answers to couple questions (Q&A), photos, and tagged locations.
- Support Communications: Feedback, problem reports, and communications sent to our customer support team.
3. Account Sign-In & Authentication
We support Sign in with Apple and Email Sign-in. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive only the identifiers and email address authorized by Apple (including Apple's private relay address). If you register using your email, we use your email to authenticate you, keep your account secure, and deliver critical service communications.
4. Device Permissions
To provide specific features, Crushie may request access to your device capabilities. You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings:
- Camera: Used only when you take a photo directly inside the app to share with your partner, record a memory, or set an avatar.
- Photo Library: Used only when you choose pictures from your device to upload as memories, chat photos, or profile pictures. Crushie does not access photos you have not explicitly selected.
- Location: With your permission, location information may be used to tag places in your memories or contextual couple milestones. Location data is not used for background tracking or advertising.
- Push Notifications: Used to alert you when your partner sends a message, answers a daily question, or shares a new memory.
5. Local Device Storage & Couple Data Model
Crushie prioritizes user privacy. Couple notes, memories, photos, and answers are bound to your private couple space. Within the app, you have granular controls to manage your space data, including options to Clear Chat, Remove Partner, or permanently Delete Space.
6. Device, Technical, and Diagnostic Data
To ensure service stability, troubleshoot issues, and protect against security incidents, we may automatically collect technical diagnostics, such as device model, OS version, app version, language, anonymous device identifiers, IP address, performance metrics, and crash logs.
7. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data solely for the following purposes:
- To establish, authenticate, and maintain your account and couple pairing.
- To transmit and synchronize couple messages, answers, and memories between you and your partner.
- To safeguard account security, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
- To diagnose technical issues, analyze crashes, and improve app functionality.
- To respond to user inquiries and support tickets.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
8. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate the service, including:
- Cloud hosting, backend database, and secure transmission infrastructure.
- Authentication providers (Apple Sign-in and Firebase Authentication).
- Push notification delivery networks (Apple APNs / Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- Mobile attribution and diagnostic monitoring providers (such as Adjust).
All third-party partners are bound by confidentiality obligations and are prohibited from using your data for any independent purpose.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide the service and maintain your couple space. You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. You can clear chat history or delete your space directly within the app settings, or submit a full data deletion request by emailing support@crushie.me.

Crushie is intended for users who are at least 17 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.
